Spring is in the Air
Usually this time of the year I’m volunteering with my Seattle climbing club to teach a new batch of eager outdoor enthusiasts mountaineering skills. Instead, I’ve been testing out climbing gyms in London in search of a new climbing community. I’ve tried out two gyms and will be testing more to find the one I want to frequent.
Since moving here earlier in the month, I’ve finally been able to plan for our time here in the U.K. I have a few trips already planned and am excited to share pictures and blog posts about what I’ve done last month. Check out my Instagram feed for the most up-to-date photos.
As many of you know, a tragic attack happened in London this month. We live close, and I was a little shaken up about it. I thank everyone who reached out to make sure we were safe.
I bought tickets to see my first mainstream play: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was a two-night affair with drinks and dinner. It’s amazing what acting and a little creative imagination can do to make a small stage come to life. I’m keeping the secret alive by not writing about the play as it’s something everyone should try to see themselves (apparently making its way to NYC in 2018). I can’t wait to see more plays.
It’s spring, so I decided to make the best of Europe’s low snow year and book a couple of ski trips before it is too late. We just got back from Austria, and I’m editing photos now.
I’ve spent some time upgrading portions of Angela Travels now that I’m working part-time. Check out my new and improved Destinations page.
A 48-Hour Guide to Stockholm, Sweden
My first weekend in Europe was spent strolling the streets of Stockholm. I visited museums, ate, drank, and soaked up the brisk winter air.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
In October 2015, I found myself in Florida for a wedding and travel blogging conference, I knew I had to rent a car and venture to Universal Studios for the day. I’m finally sharing my images from my trip.
