I first learned about Liftopia at a Warren Miller Film Festival. I saw pro skiers hucking cliffs and skiing sick spine lines. Talk about some serious ski stoke!

My abilities are far from the big mountain skiers, which means I head to resorts. As I fine-tune my new skiing skills, I find myself traveling more. It is a great excuse for a quick, long weekend road trip.

Skiing more in Canada to check out new terrain and find snow that Washington is lacking, Liftopia has been a great resource to fill my ski-lust.

Last year, I jetted to Colorado for a skication to see what the Rockies had to offer. I used my first of many Liftopia $10 off coupons and scored lift passes to A-Basin that included a meal at the lodge. SCORE.

Itching for the ski season to start this season (and still waiting), I headed to the Pretty Faces film screening in October, where I scored more Liftopia discount codes. Now the big question presented itself: Where am I going to ski?

Skiing in Revelstoke

First round of discounts were purchased for Revelstoke in British Columbia. Its claim to fame is having the longest vertical ski runs in North America. Get tickets in advance and avoid long lift lines. Liftopia includes multiple resorts with relatively affordable prices throughout North America, and they are expanding.

resting at Silver Star

As part of the long weekend, we headed to Silver Star as well. To my dismay, my procrastination costed me full-price tickets. Liftopia has a limit of ski passes it sells per resort per day. If you are chasing powder and indecisive on going to resorts, Liftopia deals may expire or sellout.

The pros definitely outweigh the late decision making if you plan trips way in advance like most people and aren’t hitting the road whenever snow is in the forecast.

Is it too early to sacrifice or pray to the snow gods? I am looking forward to next season in hopes for more snow and travel opportunities. If you don’t like to be loyal to resorts and want to shop and travel around for snow, then the Mountain Collective pass may be for you. I am excited for new resorts and travel opportunities and using Liftopia on-the-go.
